Beginner Bonsai Course Series

Your instructor Wm N Valavanis has 62 years of experience. He started Bonsai when he was 11years old, started lecturing at 16 and  publishing at 20. He has 2 horticultural degrees  and lectures and judges around the world. He was recently given the honor of judging the Taikan Ten Bonsai Exhibition in Japan. The first non Asian to be given this honor. He is the third and only living Bonsai Artist inducted into the Bonsai Hall of Fame at the U.S. National Arboretum in  Washington D.C. Mr. Valavanis holds the prestigeous and world renoun U.S. National Bonsai Exhibition here in Rochester NY. You will have a very qualified instructor.

Registration for the Introductory Bonsai Course Series is $90 for the entire four week course. Registration fee includes instruction, handouts, bottom screens and screened bonsai soil. Quality tools will be available for rental or purchase during the beginners bonsai course. There is a 20% discount on tools for beginner's. You may  bring your own bonsai tools if you have them. Plant material, containers, wire, will be prepared and available for purchase. Registration application and fee must be received in order to reserve your space. Register early since space will be limited in order to provide individual instruction.
