Juniperus chinensis ‘Shimpaku Itoigawa’
Sargent juniper, also called Shimpaku juniper, is a favorite among bonsai artists from beginners to master artist because they don’t have a natural growth form and can be shaped into any form. The evergreen, bright-green foliage of the Itoigawa sargent juniper is more delicate and refined than the common Sargent juniper. They are quick to develop and easy to maintain. The trunks and branches have already been shaped by wiring, (without wire scars,) can withstand quite a bit of bending into extreme as well as delicate forms. These bushy specimens have plenty of options for shaping. Started from cuttings and completely container-grown to ensure health. These choice plants are great for workshops!
