Prunus x yedonensis ‘Shidare’

The Weeping Yoshino flowering cherry has fragrant white flowers in clusters. Small red fruit are produced in summer. The bright delicate colored flowers make this weeping cultivar of cherry popular for spring appreciation. The new leaves are bronze turning dark green. Autumn brings colorful red and copper colored foliage. When leaves drop the beautiful shiny bark can be appreciated. Weeping branching can easily be trained into attractive bonsai. White fragrant cherry blossoms welcome spring!
