Chamaecyparis thyoides ‘Valavanis’
Discovered and introduced by Wm. N. Valavanis from a witch’s broom in New Jersey. This cultivar was named by a friend. Easy to grow from cuttings and train for bonsai. The fine textured light green foliage is soft. The branches and trunks are easy to wire, bend and shape. A beautiful new cultivar selected for its outstanding characteristics for bonsai training. Both small and large bonsai can be quickly created. Very winter hardy. A first offerinng!
