Ulmus parvifolia ‘Seiju’

There are many different rough bark and dwarf cultivars of Chinese elms. Seiju Chinese elm develops both rough bark and has small foliage which turns yellow in autumn. This cultivar was introduced by H. Carl Young from California in the mid-1960s. Started from an airlayer with two trunks to develop into a twin trunk style bonsai. Growing in 1 gal. plastic training pot. Height 12”, width 12”.
